'Suits' Season 6 Newcomer Carly Pope Reveals Her Favorite Character On The USA Network Series

Carly Pope, who made her debut appearance as Tara Messer in last Wednesday episode of "Suits," has been familiar with the USA Network series long before she auditioned for the show.
In a recent interview with CarterMatt.com, Pope admitted that she had only seen season 1 of the legal drama before she decided to try out for the show.
"I had only seen season 1 of the show, which was my own sad story of not having a PVR and being able to record episodes," the 35-year-old said. "Then, I ended up watching seasons 4 and 5 when I was auditioning, and I devoured them in one weekend, and I was really charmed hoping that [my audition] would come through. When you really invest in those characters, you want to be involved! That's the beauty of what they do over there -- the depth of the relationships, the dynamics, the fun that they have within. It really runs the gamut, and as an actor that's exciting to be a part of."

As a fan, the "Popular" alum has a favorite character coming into the show, and fortunately for her, that someone happens to be her character's romantic interest.
"I do have to say -- and this is not biased at all -- but I really think Louis is such a phenomenal character," Pope told USANetwork.com when asked who her favorite character on the show is. "He is so delightful in his oddness, in his passion, in his close-mindedness at times, and then his open-mindedness at others. He's just the full gamut, and so I've always really enjoyed watching him."
