"The Flash" stars Grant Gustin and Candice Patton were recently spotted filming an intimate scene for the upcoming season 3 of the CW series.

The two, who play Barry Allen and Iris West on the show, were photographed filming a kissing scene on Thursday night at the Vancouver seawall in False Creek. According to YVRShoots, the pair did the scene over and over again, and were seen dancing and laughing in between takes.

This was the second time Gustin and Patton have been spotted filming a kissing scene since the production on season 3 started. Last July 19, YVRShoots also spotted the pair filming a kissing scene at Cambie Village -- a community in Vancouver where scenes outside the West's residence are being filmed.

In the "Flashpoint" timeline -- as revealed in the trailer for season 3 -- Barry never grew up with Iris, as both of his parents are alive in this altered reality. Despite that, executive producer Todd Helbing said during the show's Comic-Con panel "that in any timeline, Barry and Iris will ultimately find each other."

While Barry and Iris are still close in the "Flashpoint" timeline, both characters no longer have great relationship with Joe.

"He's very unhappy," Jesse L. Martin said of his character in the "Flashpoint" timeline. "Things at home aren't going well. He's having a particular issue with his youngest and only daughter, and doesn't seem solvable. Joe gets quite depressed about it. It starts to affect his job and starts to affect his work."

Although Barry is now getting a cold treatment from Joe at work, "Barry is the one that makes sure Joe still has a job. Things get so dire that Joe doesn't want to do anything," teased Martin.

"The Flash" season 3 premieres on Tuesday, Oct. 4 at 8 p.m. on The CW.
