After taking Ravi's (Rahul Kohli) untested zombie cure in season 2 of "iZombie," Blaine (David Anders) has had a partial memory loss. However, given Blaine's trickster nature, a lot of fans aren't really convinced that he has amnesia.

During a roundtable interview at last month's San Diego Comic-Con, Anders was asked if Blaine is just pretending to have lost some of his memories, and it turned out that even the actor himself doesn't know what the truth is.

"I don't really know if he is faking it or not, and I like not knowing," Anders told TV Equals and other news outlets. "I'm glad they haven't told me because I can play the truth to it."

While the "Alias" alum has yet to know whether Blaine's memory loss is just a show, the actor said that he personally wants his character to get his memory back.

"I can be honest that I wanted to get his memory back because it's a bit castrating for Blaine. I miss the old cat," Anders told Whedonopolis Videos.

"I can say that because Blaine is so fun, and he's got these wonderful lines. Now that he's blank, he's kind of lost in the woods," he said, before adding (via TV Goodness) that he misses the "witty, snappy and funny" Blaine.

On the other side of the coin, however, Anders said that he's enjoying playing the new version of Blaine.

"It's always fun playing the new guy," he said. "Every actor want to play as many different characters as possible, so if you can do that within one show, that's pretty rad."
