Karrueche Tran Proves Chris Brown Wrong By Scoring Huge Acting Role On Major Cable Channel

You can score another win for Karrueche Tran, because she just landed a role in a brand new pilot on TNT.

The potential series — which reportedly falls under the dramedy category — is called "Claws," and it takes place in a Florida nail salon. According to Variety, there's also an organized crime component to the show, because the mob and the women who work in the establishment are connected somehow.

Besides Karrueche, the pilot stars Niecy Nash, and it's executive produced by Rashida Jones through her Le Train Train production company.

At this time, Ms. Tran hasn't mentioned the roll on any of her social media accounts, which is smart because there's obviously no guarantee that the pilot will be turned into a series. But either way, the new gig is a huge victory for the up-and-coming actress, and it shows that some people in Hollywood are taking her very seriously.

Plus, the role kind of proves her ex Chris Brown wrong, because he seemed doubtful that Karrueche would even get a serious part in something this major.
