'Game Of Thrones' Star Ellie Kendrick Reveals Oddest Fan Theory She’s Ever Heard About Meera

Is Meera Reed (Ellie Kendrick) Jon Snow's (Kit Harington) secret sister?
Some "Game of Thrones" fans reckon that Jon wasn't the only child of Rhaegar Targaryen and Ned Stark's (Sean Bean) sister Lyanna (Aisling Franciosi). According to this fan theory, Jon actually has a secret sister who was adopted by Howland Reed (Leo Woodruff) -- the only other man to survive Ned's mission of rescuing Lyanna.
Howland is the father of Jojen (Thomas Brodie-Sangster) and Meera, but if this theory ends up being true, then Jojen and Meera aren't really siblings.
At a "Game of Thrones" panel at London Film & Comic Con, Kendrick revealed that it is the oddest theory she has ever heard about her character, explaining that the theory is mainly based on her facial resemblance to Harington.
"A lot of people told me about the Meera and Jon Snow thing," Radio Times quoted Kendrick as saying. "I think it's just because we both have curly hair man, because if you've read the books they're not really that similar."

Although only time will tell whether Meera and Jon are indeed related, Kendrick said that she would be thrilled if the theory turns out to be true.
"Hey, I'd love it to be true because it would mean great things for my character," the "Diary of Anne Frank" actress told Digital Spy last February. "But I'm holding back on speculation for now. I think what's been going on in George R.R. Martin's brain is so much more a complex wormhole than we could possibly imagine. I think there's definitely a mystery to Meera and Jojen and their parentage, but I think it'll unwind itself eventually."
