After the explosive, highly dramatic season 3 finale of "Masters Of Sex" which aired last year, the wait for season 4 seems agonizingly long. In the final moments of season 3, Dr. William Masters/Bill (Michael Sheen) tried, in vain, to stop his long-time partner and fellow researcher Virginia Johnson (Lizzy Caplan) from going with rich perfumer Dan Logan (Josh Charles).

Bill emerged a defeated man after spending a night in jail on the charges of prostitution and child pornography. His sex surrogate Nora (Emily Kinney) was revealed to be a religious fanatic who set him up as a man who paid her for sex. Additionally, Bill's legal troubles only increased when Dennis' parents slapped him with a lawsuit for showing diagrams of male and female genitals to their son.

Now the question for season 4 is — Is Virginia still with Dan in the season premiere? Did she marry him?

Virginia and Dan are not only together, but they are married! TVGuide reports that the perfumer wasted no time in proposing the sex researcher.

Furthermore, loving Dan has allowed his wife to keep her last name since she is a published author. This is certainly a revolutionary decision because in the late 1960s, few women were allowed to keep their last name after marriage.

Of course, once Bill hears of their marriage, he is certainly going to regret his decision of letting his fellow researcher go. He never valued her during their relationship and he let her leave with Dan without putting up much of a fight.

However, the question remains if Mrs. Virginia Johnson is a happily married to Dan. Does she ever miss Bill?
