One of 2017's highly anticipated movies is, arguably, "Wonder Woman." Delving into the world of Diana Prince, an Amazon warrior who has never ventured in man's world, the film is the first to showcase a female super heroine.
The cast and crew of "Wonder Woman" attended the recently concluded San Diego Comic-Con 2016 in which they unveiled a new trailer (which can be played above) and provided some spoilers. Here are three things Gal Gadot, the Israeli actress who plays the iconic superhero, and the film's director, Patty Jenkins, revealed at the panel:
3. It's the story of a girl becoming a woman
Although "Wonder Woman" is, essentially, a superhero story, it also tells the tale of a girl becomes a woman. Gadot revealed (via The Hollywood Reporter) that Diana grew up in the island of Themyscira where she was kept safe and protected from the outside world. She thought she knows everything about the world, but when she enters man's world, she realizes there is a lot she doesn't know.
In fact, Wonder Woman has never seen a man till Captain Steve Trevor (Chris Pine) washes up on the shores of the island. In the trailer, it's clear that she doesn't know what a man is. After all, she was made by Greek God Zeus and never had a father.

2. She fights in the First World War
The Amazon warrior realizes she can't just stand by when man's world crumbles. Whatever happens in the "Wonder Woman" movie leads to her decision to stay away from man's problems until she gets involved with Superman and Batman's fight against Doomsday in "Batman Vs. Superman: Dawn Of Justice."
The trailer shows several shots of Gadot's character dodging bullets, using her magical lasso to disarm enemies and smash concrete.

1. She learns to become a powerful and loving super heroine
Jenkins shared during the panel that the movie's theme is about learning to become a powerful and loving superhero. "Power comes easy, but how do you learn to do the other things?" she said.
"Wonder Woman" hits theatres on June 2, 2017.
