The premiere date for the sixth and final season of "Teen Wolf" has been revealed.

Just two days after showrunner Jeff Davis and cast members Tyler Posey (Scott), Holland Roden (Lydia), Dylan Sprayberry (Liam), Khylin Rhambo (Mason) and Cody Christian (Theo) hit the stage at San Diego Comic-Con, MTV News revealed when exactly season 6 will debut.

According to the website, the supernatural drama will return on Tuesday, Nov. 15.

All previous seasons of the show premiered in the month of June, so next season's fall debut is a first for the series.

According to Teen Wolf News, the delay has "little to nothing to do with Dylan O'Brien's accident" on the set of "Maze Runner: The Death Cure" last March. Instead, the website reported that the delay is due to a "pitched battle" between MTV's parent company, VIACOM, and the family that owns the majority of the firm.

Most recently, Teen Wolf News also learned that the other reason for the delay is that MTV is waiting for their new show "Sweet/Vicious" to be ready to air, as the network is going to use "Teen Wolf" as a "debut buddy" for the new show to draw more viewers for its series premiere.

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly before the show's Comic-Con panel, Davis said that final season was going to be a "great gift to the fans."

"Teen Wolf has been an extraordinary journey, one that captured the hearts and imaginations of fans more than we could've ever imagined. We're eternally grateful for the support we've received over these past six years and we're excited to take our brave fans on one last, thrilling adventure," Davis added during the panel.

In an interview with TVLine, still at Comic-Con, Davis added that ending the show after its 100th episode is "a good place to finish." "The network and I were in total agreement on 100 episodes," he revealed. "I'm still shocked that we made to a hundred. I used to think we'd only do 40 or 50, which would be amazing for a cable show."
