The 2016 Teen Choice Awards are set to air on Sunday, July 31, and there are plenty of deserving nominees in each category.
The category for Choice TV: Liplock consists of the following nominees:
Emily Bett Rickards and Stephen Amell, "Arrow"
Better known as Felicity Smoak and Oliver Queen aka Green Arrow, the onscreen couple's adorable romance drives fans wild.
Chelsea Kane and Derek Theler, "Baby Daddy"
The actors who portray Riley Perrin and Danny Wheeler have a hilarious romance on the Freeform series that briefly came to an end. However, the couple is back together, stronger than ever and not afraid to share a smooch every now and then.
Candice King and Paul Wesley, "The Vampire Diaries"
Also known as Steroline, fans have been waiting for this pair to get together for a few seasons. Now that TVD is coming to a close, the CW series may be a front runner to take home the surfboard this year.
Jennifer Morrison and Colin O'Donoghue, "Once Upon A Time"
Fans go gaga over Emma Swan and Captain Killian "Hook" Jones, hoping that these characters will get a happy ending in Storybrook. However, we know that happiness is short lived on the ABC drama.
Candice Patton and Grant Gustin, "The Flash"
Will they or won't they? That's the question fans keep asking about the romance between Barry Allen and Iris West. For now, a few onscreen kisses here and there will have to satisfy fans until the series returns in the fall, hopefully with more episodes featuring a Barry and Iris romance.
Leah Pipes and Joseph Morgan, "The Originals"
Even though Cami was killed off the show, that does not take away from the countless, steamy liplocks she shared with Klaus Mikaelson. Maybe winning this award can give the couple a glimpse of happiness that they never received from the French Quarter.
