"iZombie" season 3 won't premiere until midseason, yet executive producers Rob Thomas and Diane Ruggiero-Wright, along with cast members Rose McIver (Liv), David Anders (Blaine), Rahul Kohli (Ravi), Malcolm Goodwin (Clive) and Aly Michalka (Peyton) appeared on stage at San Diego Comic-Con on Friday to tease what fans can expect from the upcoming installment. Below are 10 spoilers we learned from the show's panel:

1. Liv will have a hard time choosing sides.

At the end of season 2, Vivian (Andrea Savage), CEO of Fillmore Graves Enterprises, asked Liv to join her in her quest to make Seattle the capital of the zombie homeland. But at the beginning of the new season, McIver revealed that "Liv is very conflicted."

"[Vivian's plan is] a military operation. This is a bunch of zombies she didn't know about... It definitely has a sinister feel about it," explained McIver. Good thing, Liv "has a whole lot of people to talk to about it to help make considered decisions."

Thomas added that "a lot of season 3" is going to be about Liv figuring out whether she's Team Zombie or Team Humanity.

2. Liv's next love interest won't be killed off.

McIver said that she's been promised that Liv's next romantic interest -- whoever it may be - "will not be killed off." After Liv lost Lowell (Bradley James) in season 1 and Drake (Greg Finley) in season 2, McIver said that she "was pretty happy to hear that."

3. Ravi's former boss will be introduced.

"A little bit of Ravi's past will walk into the morgue," Thomas teased, before revealing that the woman who fired Ravi from the CDC will make an appearance next season.

4. Blaine's dad will return.

Angus (Robert Knepper) "will be back for season3. We see him in the first episode," Thomas said. "We find him frozen in the Shady Plots basement, and we have some fun plans for him this year."

5. Liv will eat a dominatrix's brain.

"Give the people what they want!" Thomas said, with Ruggiero-Wright adding, "Rose is good at everything. She's gonna be the best dom."

When asked about researching the role, Liv said, "I'm going to have to clear my browser history repeatedly."

6. "iZombie will try taking the "Law & Order" route this season.

"Liv and Clive are going to solve a case in one episode, and then Peyton is going to then prosecute it in the following episode and find out there's more to it than it seems," Thomas teased.

7. Ravi, Blaine and Peyton's love triangle will continue.

"This triangle exists and continues to exist this season," Michalka said, before adding that Ravi will be dealing with his feelings about it in the first few episodes of the new season.

8. Johnny Frost, Brandt Stone and Mr. Boss will all come back.

Weatherman Johnny Frost (Daran Norris), Major's (Robert Buckley) lawyer Brandt Stone (Ken Marino) and Seattle's leading crime-lord Mr. Boss (Eddie Jemison) are all returning for season 3. However, despite his big involvement in the story last season, the show won't get to Mr. Boss until later in the upcoming installment.

9. Natalie will be found.

Nathalie (Uma Voss), the suicidal zombie escort who was missing from the Max Rager vaults in the season 2 finale, will be found, Thomas said. "[Major] made a promise to her that he did not keep and he wants to keep that," Thomas said. So Major's hunt for what happened to Natalie will be a major part of his arc next season.

10. Ravi will continue to work on the cure.

Ravi will continue to perfect the cure next season, but Thomas reminded fans that once the medical examiner succeeds in finding the cure, that would mean the end of the show. So viewers can expect more test runs, but little success and perhaps more shocking side effects.
