'Grey's Anatomy' Season 13 Spoilers: Cast Members Attend First Script Reading For ABC Show

On her Twitter account, executive producer Shonda Rhimes shared a video from their recent gathering.

The clip opened with one of the execs welcoming everyone to season 13. Immediately after, everyone in the room cheered and applauded.

Some of the cast members that were spotted at the script reading included James Pickens Jr., Kelly McCreary, Shonda Rhimess and Camilla Luddington.

Meanwhile, other details from the upcoming season are still being kept under wraps.

What is only known is that the first day of filming for season 13 will take place early next month.

In other news, cast member Sarah Drew recently opened up about April and Arizona's (Jessica Capshaw) friendship in the upcoming episodes.

Last season, the two doctors had a brief falling out after the former felt that she was betrayed by the latter.

While speaking with ETalk, Drew said that she's confident that April and Arizona will become friends again.

After everything that the two characters have been through, Drew believes that both of them won't waste such good relationship with each other.

"I'm guessing that we'll continue to see them kind of be each other's person in that friendship kind of way," she said.

In other news, "Grey's Anatomy" cast member Caterina Scorsone also talked about her character Amelia's fate.

After tying the knot with Owen (Kevin McKidd), Amelia will not necessarily get to focus all of her time with her husband.

Instead, she would feel the need to get in between Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) and Maggie (Kelly McCreary) who will most likely have a falling out in season 13.

Scorsone told Entertainment Weekly that Meredith will most likely come clean about hooking up with Nathan (Martin Henderson), and Maggie won't be happy to hear this.

"Grey's Anatomy" season 13 will premiere on ABC on Sept. 22 at 8 p.m. ET.
