It looks like Kanye West and Adidas will be putting out some of the world's most popular shoes for years to come. On Wednesday, June 29, adidas announced that they've expanded their partnership with the "The Life of Pablo" rapper (Wall Street Journal).

"These past two years adidas and Yeezy have given a glimpse into our future," Kanye said of his business relationship with adidas in press release. "This partnership illustrates that anyone with a dream can dream without limitations."
Fans of Kanye and his Yeezy Boost 350s are probably wondering what's changed in Kanye's partnership with adidas. Adidas CMO Eric Liedtke gave them an answer.
"With adidas + KANYE WEST we are exploring new territories by opening up the sports world to Kanye's creativity," Liedtke explained. "This is what adidas has always been about, empowering creators to create the new."
Perhaps the biggest announcement of the day was the revelation that adidas would be developing Yeezy-branded stores in the U.S. That means we could be getting stores dedicated almost entirely to Kanye-related apparel.
As a lover of fashion, Kanye's re-upping his partnership with adidas is pretty much the best case scenario. Kanye first signed with the shoe company in 2013, after he famously parted ways with Nike.
In the years since Kanye signed his adidas deal, Kanye's Yeezy Boost 350s have become some of the most popular shoes in the U.S. Now, he can continue designing shoes for the company and expanding upon his artistic vision. We can't wait to see it. Be sure to check out Design & Trend for more updates on Kanye's adidas partnership!
