(Photo : Gene Page/AMC) "The Walking Dead" season 7 premiere features a major death, and its victim has been narrowed down to four possibilities from cast sightings. Will AMC abide by the rules of the comics for Negan's entrance? "The Walking Dead" returns to AMC in October.

"The Walking Dead" season 7 opens with a major death, and cast filming has offered some major SPOILERS for Negan's elusive victim. Here are four characters from the finale that haven't been officially spotted since the premiere.

1) Abraham (Michael Cudlitz)

Insiders haven't seen Michael Cudlitz on set as Abraham since day one. While some unconfirmed sightings were reported, it's since been deduced that the person in question was simply a fan cosplaying as his character.

This is obviously a calculated move by AMC given Abraham's fate in the "Walking Dead" comics. Shortly before Negan's debut, he's shot down by a crossbow-wielding Dwight. For all intents and purposes, his death was "remixed" with Denise as its victim late last year. Does that mean Abraham can now be swapped in for a beatdown from Lucille? It's still possible!

2) Glenn (Steven Yeun)

Glenn's actor Steven Yeun hasn't been seen on set since the premiere filming either. Photos were snapped of him and Norman Reedus helping fans at a nearby car accident, but that incident took place right as season 7 began.

Glenn is famously the Lucille victim in the comics, so he's the top death pick when it comes to remaking that scenario for the TV show. In that sense, it's obvious why the crew has kept him out of sight if he's still around.

3) Eugene (Josh McDermitt)

We've covered the two most obvious ones, so now it's time to consider a few less likely possibilities. Eugene intended to solo pilot Alexandria's RV to distract Negan from the rest of the group, but, ultimately, he was captured and returned to his family to watch the finale events. Before doing so, he bid a tearful farewell to Abraham.

Curiously, Eugene's actor, Josh McDermitt, has not been confirmed for a sighting since the premiere. We cautiously put him on our "not dying" list last week, but his fate is still somewhat uncertain. There were murmurs that he was on hand while filming episodes 3 and 4, but those claims were reported as skeptical. Especially since McDermitt has been dabbling in other projects lately, he can't be counted out.

4) Rosita (Christian Serratos)

Rosita's situation is pretty similar, except there isn't as much episodic evidence to back up her death. There were no heartfelt goodbyes this time! That being said, the closest we get to a non-premiere sighting is some assumed filming for episode 4. The mentions seem fairly substantiated, but, without photo proof, it's impossible to know!

"The Walking Dead" crew at AMC has been reasonably artful about concealing character fates during the season 7 creation process. Filming has taken place outside as usual, but a large portion of the scripts have also been captured indoors. We suspect that speculation over these remaining four contenders is very much intentional as the premiere date draws near. The network has threatened litigation should the death be confirmed early.

"The Walking Dead" returns to AMC in October.

Which of these cast members will be leaving "The Walking Dead" at the start of season 7? Can these spoilers be trusted? Tell us in the poll and comments section!
