(Photo : Gene Page/AMC) "The Walking Dead" season 6 finale death has almost been solved in spoilers, and there are plenty of characters that Negan didn't kill at the end. Below, we recap five survivors based on photo evidence. "The Walking Dead" returns to AMC on Oct. 11.

"The Walking Dead" season 6 finale death has almost been solved, as SPOILERS for Negan's victim pour in. Based on filming so far, here are five characters that we know weren't beat down by Lucille.

1) Rick

This is pretty obvious right? Rick is the lead protagonist of the show and has yet to die in the comics. Not only that, but the goal of Negan's brutal display is to keep Rick under his thumb. Strategically, it wouldn't make any sense to kill him.

For those that want more proof, however, we also have tons of filming photos from the season 7 set. Actor Andrew Lincoln has been very involved with the process, so he isn't going anywhere.

2) Carl

Equally obvious is Rick's son, Carl. He's too much of a main character to die at this point considering there've been hints that the boy would continue the Grimes legacy if Rick were ever to perish. There's so much more development to happen with Carl especially as he gets older. His relationship with Negan is also an interesting arc that AMC wouldn't let go to waste.

Chandler Riggs hasn't been on set as much as other cast members, but we have photos of him from the filming of episodes as deep as episode 5. That should be enough to squash what little suspicion exists.

3) Daryl

Daryl and Norman Reedus have a cult following amongst fans of "The Walking Dead," and that passionate group of devotees will be glad to know that the crossbow-wielding loner isn't going anywhere. In rumor reports he was the first mentioned season 6 survivor, and we have the pictures to prove it.

In season 7 it appears that he's held captive by the Saviors for a little while, but he eventually comes back to Alexandria. Instead of his trademark vest, however, he wears a pretty nasty prison jump suit. It's not the best look for him, but at least he pulls through!

4) Aaron

Aaron also appears to have survived given a recent batch of spoiler shots. In the filming for episode 5 shown below Carl's heading, he and Father Gabriel seemingly have some scenes together. Yes they could amount to a flashback, but that doesn't really make sense given that Daryl was also spotted nearby in his new prison garb. Rick was also seen holding Lucille, which is an important future moment from the comics.

Aaron still has more to accomplish in the printed lore too. Killing him now wouldn't have as much impact as it might later on.

5) Eugene

This one's at least slightly more suspect because we don't have photo evidence, but Eugene's actor, Josh McDermitt was seen around the season 7 set while filming for episode 5. That doesn't necessarily confirm that his character is involved with the script, but it's a pretty good indication. He was surrounded by other cast members that do appear in the episode.

Like the others, this is another case where "The Walking Dead" comics help too. Eugene's character grows substantially after Negan arrives, so it doesn't make much sense for him to die in season 6.

"The Walking Dead" returns to AMC on Oct. 11.
