"Bloodline" season 3 will bring a lot of new developments and setbacks not only for John but also for the rest of the Rayburn family.
In season 2 of the Netflix family drama, Meg Rayburn was once again sucked back into the Rayburn family drama, even after leaving Florida Keys and picking up her new job in New York at the end of season 1.
Though she's considered as the most sensible and reasonable among the siblings, Meg couldn't escape the darkness surrounding her family members and ultimately did some very bad things as well.
"Bloodline's" season 2 finale saw Meg nearly confessing to Sally (Sissy Spacek) everything she's been keeping secret, but the season ended without her confession and the latter's reaction.
During an interview with GoldDerby, "Bloodline" star Linda Cardellini dished on the fate of her character Meg on the series as well as Sally's possible reaction to her confession.
"I'm . . . looking forward to how it turns out when whatever it is I say to Sally - whatever that next sentence is, I'm very excited to see where that leads - if anybody actually tells the truth," the actress told GoldDerby.
Cardellini went on to say that she hopes the series' co-creators explore the aftermath of Meg and Sally's upcoming exchange.
"That's what I think is fascinating is how many children can [Sally] actually bear to lose. What she does with that information, if she ever learns the information, I think that's a really fascinating thing. I hope they address that if there's a season 3," she added.
The actress added that while all of the siblings have done their fair share of bad deeds, Meg will handle the aftermath in a different manner compared to John and Kevin.
"I think we all spiral out of control, but she's a very different personality than John and Kevin, and she manages to use her logic and compartmentalize. They're a private family in a public place, and they have two faces. Even though she's falling apart she finds a way to carry on and to do the duties she has to do," she explained.
Meanwhile, Netflix has yet to confirm whether or not "Bloodline" will be renewed for a third season.
"Bloodline" seasons 1 and 2 are currently available for streaming on Netflix.
