Megan Tandy's "Teen Wolf" stint was supposed to be a one-off episode.

In a recent interview with UntitledTV.com, Tandy revealed that her character, Braeden, was originally set to die in her debut episode, but for some reasons, showrunner Jeff Davis suddenly decided to change the mercenary's fate.

When asked if she knew how long her role would last, Braeden told the website: "No, absolutely not because my role originally was the girl. That was literally the name of the character, it was the girl back in season 3A, and my only job at the time, literally, was to rescue Isaac [Daniel Sharman]. "

Tandy made her first appearance in the season 3 premiere, and in it, she saved Isaac from twin werewolves Aiden (Max Carver) and Ethan (Charlie Carver).

"That was it, the girl is done, she dies at the end," the 31-year-old actress revealed. "[But] Jeff Davis switched it, he changed it just in the blink of an eye, and I was kinda just sitting around waiting to find out what they were gonna do with the character. She [then] started popping up in different episodes and became Derek's [Tyler Hoechlin] love interest, and so much just kind of came on a whim to be honest."

"I wasn't prepped for any of it," she admitted. "I didn't know a thing, I was just going with the flow. It's been so much fun."

As to whether she will be back for season 6, Tandy said: "I can just say that currently I'm on two other shows and it hasn't made filming in LA very convenient. I don't wanna say that I won't be there because it's Jeff Davis, you really just honestly never know. Right now I am on two other shows so take that as you may."

Meanwhile, "Teen Wolf" lead actor Tyler Posey promised that the upcoming season of the MTV supernatural series is going to be a good one.

"'Teen Wolf' always tries to push the envelope and do something creative and something we've never done before. We're trying to do that again," Posey told E! News on the red carpet at the 2016 MTV Movie Awards last April when asked what fans can expect from season 6.

"I can't give you much at all. I can't give you anything, really, but it's going to be good," said the 24-year-old actor, who plays Scott McCall on the series. "I'm directing an episode sometime this season. I don't know what yet but that's exciting. I'm producing and it's just going to be good."
