This Memorial Day, celebrate our veterans with a war movie marathon. We've rounded up five of the best war movies available on Netflix for your instant streaming ease:

5. Three Kings (1999)

This early film from David O. Russell is a satirical comedy about a gold heist that takes place during the 1991 Iraqi uprising against Saddam Hussein after the Persian Gulf War - and it stars George Clooney.

4. Rescue Dawn (2006)

This Werner Herzog-directed war drama is based on the true story of a German-American pilot who was shot down and captured during the Vietnam War. A pre-fame Christian Bale stars. 

3. Black Hawk Down (2001)

This Ridley Scott-directed ensemble drama based on a true story stars Josh Hartnett, Eric Bana and Ewan McGregor as US soldiers who drop into Somalia in the midst of conflict.

2. The Longest Day (1962)

The events of D-Day, told on a grand scale from both the Allied and German points of view has an all-star cast including John Wayne, Henry Fonda, Richard Burton and Sean Connery. Directed by Ken Annakin and Andrew Marton.
