Is Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) expecting her first child with Ramsay Bolton (Iwan Rheon)?

According to the Huffington Post, promotional photos released before the show's season 6 premiere sparked speculation that Sansa might be pregnant with Ramsay's firstborn. The pregnancy rumors died down for a moment, but in last Sunday's episode, the show hinted at that possibility again.

In the episode, titled "The Door," Sansa tells Littlefinger (Aidan Gillen) that Ramsay tortured her however he liked as long as she could still give him an heir.

"I can still feel what he did in my body, standing here right now," says Sansa at one point, reigniting speculation that she could be pregnant.

Another hint that Sansa could be expecting is her problems with the Night's Watch's food. She also made herself new clothing, which for some fans suggests, that she knows that she's expecting and is just keeping it to herself.

Whether or not Sansa is carrying a child, Turner said that her character will continue to stand on her own.

"Definitely this season she's sick of being a pawn in everyone else's game," the 20-year-old actress told Los Angeles Times. "And finally she's playing the game. Every time she goes somewhere with someone, it doesn't work out. So just doing her own thing and trying to make people listen to her. It's very much about her taking her own path."

In the same interview, Turner also talked about what it was like filming that scene with Gillen, in which her character addressed all the horrible things that had happened to her since Littlefinger brought her back to Winterfell.

"It was very empowering. It was a big moment for her," the "X-Men: Apocalypse" actress said of the reunion scene between Sansa and Littlefinger. "It was kind of a moment where she's voicing what everyone else is wanting her to say. [It's] finally happening for her. It was a big thing for me, I think, because it was the first time that she's really stood on her own and been true to herself and been unafraid to say what she wants and say what she means. It was a very big moment; very, very emotional."
