Alan Cumming Lists East Village Co-Op For $2.2 Million

Actor Alan Cumming recently listed his East Village co-op on the market for $2.2 million. 

Located at 297 E 10th Street, the 1,500-square-foot apartment features four bedrooms and one bathroom.

Cumming and his husband Grant Shaffer originally purchased the third floor apartment in 2005 for $1.695 million.

The apartment was built in 1846 and has retained many of its original architectural details.

The open layout interior includes hardwood flooring, fireplace, plenty of windows for natural sunlight and built-in shelving. 

Three years ago the couple purchased a 19th-century townhouse for $4.65 million and have been renovating it since then.

The new property is now close to completion and the couple is ready to part ways with their East Village home.
