J.Crew's CEO Mickey Drexler has recently listed his luxury 9,000-square-foot townhouse on the market for nearly $30 million.
Originally built in the 1890s and used as a coffee roasting plant, the five story townhouse is located in Manhattan's downtown neighborhood of Tribeca. The building underwent major renovation in 2015, but the space conserved some its original industrial features such as exposed steel, wood, brick and elevator.
Drexler purchased the property in 2008 for $5.5 million. The restored building has five bedrooms, a rooftop terrace and celebrated interiors designed by Thierry Despont. According to the Wall Street Journal, Drexler has listed the Tribeca townhouse because he "lives primarily on the Upper East Side." The home is listed on the market for a whopping $29.95 million.
