"Scream Queens" alum Nick Jonas has spoken out about the rumors that One Direction's Harry Styles is set to join the cast of the Fox series for its upcoming season 2.
In a recent interview with Now magazine, Jonas -- who played Boone in the first season of the comedy-horror anthology series -- was asked whether it is true that Styles will be appearing in the sophomore run of the show.
"I'm not sure but I've heard from a few people in LA who've seen him - agents and casting directors - that he's a good actor, which is interesting," the 23-year-old "Jealous" hitmaker said.
Lea Michele and her "Scream Queens" co-stars mentioned Styles more than once during the show's PaleyFest panel last March, fuelling rumors that the 22-year-old British crooner will appear in the next season of the show.
According to Hollywood Life, when "Scream Queens" co-creator Brad Falchuk revealed that Michele's character, Hester, will be "intimately involved" with someone in the new season, Michele cut him and asked "...with Harry Styles?"

Falchuk then jokingly blamed the "Glee" alum for starting the rumor that Styles is one of the new male actors joining the show in season 2.
"She started all this," Falchuk said during the panel, according to Us Weekly. "She started this rumor and now it's a thing."
The rumor actually started to circulate online shortly after last October's Q&A at Fan Fright Fest in New York City, where series co-creator Ryan Murphy revealed that he received an email from a big male pop star asking him to be part of the series.
Michele apparently heard about the rumor and told Directioners around the world to keep their cool if it really ends up to be Styles.
"If it's Harry Styles, everybody better calm down," Michele told InStyle last December. "I love One Direction. Everybody knows this. I'm also thinking that he should be in the "Wicked" movie. He's our modern day Mick Jagger."
