In last week's episode of "NCIS: Los Angeles," Assistant Director Owen Granger (Miguel Ferrer) had to escort his daughter Jennifer Kim (Malese Jow) back to Los Angeles. He had to interrogate her about a North Korean spy that he suspected is in his team.

Here's a little video from season 7, episode 22:

This week, Sam (LL Cool J) and Callen (Chris O'Donnell) will go undercover. According to episode 23's synopsis on CBS, the duo will go undercover as firefighters because the Department of Defense catches fire. In this department, there was a container that had top secret information about several suspected terrorists.

Callen and Sam must retrieve this classified information from the site before someone else does in "Where There's Smoke ..."

It will be interesting to see NCIS Special Agents Sam and Callen don firefighter suits and act the part. Furthermore, the above video reveals a surprising information: Eric (Barrett Foa) finds out that Nell (Renee Felice Smith) is attracted to firefighters.

In other news, the season 7 finale of "NCIS: L.A." will see Sam's family threatened. The show's executive producer, Scott Gemmill, told TVGuide, "Sam gets a text message from his son that is sort of a coded panic password that tells him his son is in serious trouble," he revealed, "Sam gets pushed to a point where he has to make a decision about whether to finish something once and for all and how he's going to do that."

Episode 24 takes place at night which is an unusual setting for the show.

LL Cool J's character will have to deal with his feelings of guilt since he couldn't keep his family safe. Gemmill said, "Obviously it's a very personal [episode] because it involves Sam and his son, and the return of Tahir, and Sam basically putting this threat to bed once and for all, and our team sort of rallying to make that happen."

"NCIS: L.A." airs Mondays at 10 p.m. EST on CBS.
