Kris Jenner Questions 'Was I Even Married' When Caitlyn Brings Up Name Change On Birth Certificate

It is obvious that Kris Jenner is still grappling with the loss of her ex-husband Bruce. Since, Bruce came out as Caitlyn Jenner in 2015, Kris has been struggling with adapting to the fact that her ex-husband is now a woman.
In a past episode of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians," Kris broke down in tears when Kim Kardashian-West came over to help her mother sort through Bruce's clothes.
Kris has had a complicated relationship with Caitlyn since the transition. She even has a hard time referring to Caitlyn by her first name, and calls her simply "Jenner" instead.
Kris will be appearing in the upcoming episode of "I Am Cait," and she becomes emotional again when Caitlyn tells her that she has changed her name on her driver's license and birth certificate.
"For the last four, five months, I had lawyers and everything changing my name," said the 66-year-old former Olympian. "I finally got my driver's license."
"What does it say? Caitlyn?" asked Kris.
"With a gender marker 'f' ... you can go all the way back to your birth certificate and change that, and I did," Caitlyn revealed to Kris' astonishment.
"That's kind of sad though," Kris remarked with a stunned look on her face.
She then began questioning her entire marriage with Bruce and if the change on the birth certificate somehow made the marriage invalid.
"Wait a second," Kris started. "Does this mean that he didn't exist? That you changed the birth certificate. Wait! Was I ever married? Was I legally married?"
Bruce and Kris Jenner were married for 23 years and had two children together. Kris was one of the last people to come around and embrace Caitlyn as a woman. She is still clearly working through it today.
