Lagertha (Katheryn Winnick) might have made the wrong decision to return to Paris.

As fans know, the Earl of Hedeby is pregnant with her child with her late lover, Kalf (Ben Robson), and yet the former shieldmaiden has still joined the fight against the Franks to invade Paris. Viewers have not yet seen Lagertha have troubles with her pregnancy, but in a sneak peek from tonight's episode, titled "Death All 'Round," it seems that Lagertha is experiencing some pregnancy pains while helping her fellow Vikings transport their boats across the mountains.

Whether or not Lagertha will suffer a miscarriage, viewers should expect big changes for the fan-favorite character later in the season.

"It's been a lot of fun this season," Winnick told Starpulse.com during a recent interview. "[As for] Lagertha's transition, she has a big arc and you'll see it more in the upcoming episodes. There's going to be a physical change for her, and as an actor you cut off your ego and allow yourself to change. You'll see her change physically, her clothes will change, her status will change. It's an exciting time."
