Action Bronson Pulled As Headliner Over Lyrics: He's 'Not Consistent With Our Values'

(Photo : Getty Images/Kevin Winter) Action Bronson was removed as George Washington University's headlining act over his lyrics.

Action Bronson will no longer be the headlining act at George Washington University's Spring Fling this year due to his lyrics.

According to Complex, about 350 students signed a petition and said the rapper's songs reference misogyny and homophobia and he wasn't an artist that represented the school's core values.

"The Program Board has decided to remove Action Bronson from Saturday's setlist," wrote a student group. "We apologize to the GW community for causing distress over the past few days and for attempting to bring an artist who is not consistent with our values of diversity and inclusion."

"Spring Fling is intended to be an event for all students to enjoy and including Action Bronson in the day would go against this," the statement read.

At this time Bronson has not yet to responded to the news, and for now you can read GW's entire message below.
