Tia Mowry posted a photo of herself leaving New York City recently, and while most complimented her on the pic, one person did just the opposite.
"Getting fat," wrote an Instagram user by the name of Miekk.
After learning of the comment, Mowry shot back and blasted the woman for insulting her. Not only that, she reached out to a company that the woman is associated with.
"I don't normally do this, but I wanted to prove a point," wrote the former child star. "I just posted a few days ago about embracing and uplifting others about body image."
"Here @miekk felt the need to say I was getting fat. I took a look at your profile, and I was sad to see that you work for young African-American girls aiding their studies ... Does your boss know that this is how you degrade other women? @Hbcutravelers, Internet bullying is not cool, and it needs to stop," added Mowry.
From there, it didn't take long for HBCU Travelers to respond and slam the woman who wrote the comment.
"HBCU Travelers does not encourage bullying in any way, shape or form," the company stated.
"The young lady you mentioned does not work for our organization but was a supporter of our mission, which can be viewed on our website. You are beautiful inside and out, and it saddens me to see that she would make the negative remark that she did."
It looks like Mowry won that particular exchange, doesn't it? You can see her full message below.
