Kris Jenner And Kim Kardashian Leaked The Ray J Sex Tape? Was The Original Story A Lie? [RUMOR]

(Photo : Getty Images/Pascal Le Segretain) According to a new tell-all book on the Kardashian family, Kris Jenner was the person most responsible for the "leaking" of Kim Kardashian's sex tape with Ray J.

Was Kim Kardashian's famous sex tape with Ray J actually an elaborate publicity stunt? According to Ian Halperin's new book, "Kardashian Dynasty," yes (via Page Six).

In one of the book's chapters, Halperin alleges that Kim decided to film her sex tape with Ray J months prior to actually filming it. Halperin also says one of Kim's friends advised her to do so because they thought it would substantially increase her status as a celebrity.

In an equally shocking potential revelation, Halperin also alleged that it was Kris Jenner who pushed Kim K. to plan and distribute the sex tape through a third party.

While nothing about Kim releasing a sex tape is inherently unethical, feigning outrage about its release could certainly be considered so. She claimed that the tape's release was traumatizing just a few weeks ago. 

“It always seems to come back around to my sex tape,” Kim K. wrote on her website in response to Chloe Grace Moretz' claim that her nude photos were setting a bad example for young women. “Yes, a sex tape that was made 13 years ago. 13 YEARS AGO. Literally that lonnng ago. And people still want to talk about it?! I have been through enough embarrassment and fear and decided to say, who cares, do better, move on. I shouldn’t constantly have to be on the defense, listing off my accomplishments just to prove that I am more than something that happened 13 years ago.”

Whether or not these allegations are truthful remains to be seen, and given their incendiary nature, it's unlikely that Kim K. and Kris Jenner will ever confirm them. Be sure to check out Design & Trend for more updates on this situation.
