Caitlyn Jenner's tenure on reality TV may be over soon.
According to Radar, several sources told the publication that Jenner's E! show "I Am Cait" is on the verge of cancellation.
"There's buzz that the show could be cancelled as early as next month," said a source close to production at E!
The show's ratings have dropped significantly in the second season. The show is down more than 500,000 viewers since the season one finale, and has dropped down by two million views from the show's premiere.
The first episode of season two was only seen by 745,000 people, compared to the 2.73 million people who viewed the first episode of season one.
This could partially be related to Jenner becoming a controversial figure as of late. People can't seem to come to terms with the fact that the 66-year-old Jenner is transgender and somehow conservative. She got a lot of criticism for coming out earlier this month and saying that she "liked" Ted Cruz, a republican presidential candidate that is openly anti-LGBT. She also claimed that Hillary Clinton "couldn't care less about women." While ironically enough, Cruz hopes to defund Planned Parenthood an organization fully committed to helping women.
Radar reached out to the network for comment on the possible cancellation and they denied it saying that the rumors are "absolutely not true." Though the cancellation is still possible due to the extremely low ratings.
Sources said that Jenner is livid about how poorly her show is doing and that she blames one person in particular for its lack of success.
"Caitlyn seems to think that Kris is actually somehow doing something behind the scenes to affect the ratings," claimed the source. "It looks like she is struggling to accept that she is not going to have the spotlight anymore and does not know what she is going to do once this is over."
