Rick Ross and his bodyguard will no longer have to answer questions about an alleged sexual assault, since the woman who made the claims asked for the case to be dropped.

According to MyNewsLA, the woman who's only been known as Jane Doe, asked a judge to grant the defendant's request for the case to be thrown out.

Back in February of 2015, the plaintiff said she was hanging out with the MMG rapper and three of his security guards when she got into a van with all three of them.

Afterwards, she was offered a drink, then went to one of the bodyguard's hotel room and eventually passed out. When the woman woke up the next morning she said her clothes were in disarray, and she'd been sexually assaulted.

Once those claims surfaced, Ross issued a statement and said he would take the accusation very seriously.

"It has been brought to my attention that serious allegations have been made against an independent contractor whose services I use often," said the Miami lyricist. "And while I am not directly involved or implicated, as a man and a father, I take this very seriously."

"I don't believe any woman's safety should be compromised, and she should never be forced to do anything outside of her will, regardless of the circumstances," he added.

At this time, there are no reports if an out-of-court settlement was reached or not.
