Angelina Jolie says her and Brad Pitt's kids, after providing animal noises for "Kung Fu Panda 3," now think "acting's easy."
"I didn't know if they were going to get quiet or nervous," Jolie told the Tribune India, "but they all did it really, really well and then I said, 'Are you ok?' and they said, 'Acting's easy!' Now I'm going to hear about that the rest of my life. 'It's easy, Mom. Why are you always so tired?'"
Asked if her children -- Maddox, 14, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 9, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 7 -- have now "caught the acting bug," Jolie said, "Maybe for voiceovers -- they were very happy there were no cameras on them. I think they would have gotten really shy. But just the idea that you're going to do a voice and become a panda. How can you say no?"
Jolie, in an interview last year, said she and Pitt are "raising confident children."
"As a parent, you want to create a safe, happy environment where your children feel loved and secure, it builds their self-confidence and that's going to help them deal with the problems they'll face later in life," she said, adding, "I'm very honest with them and I often talk to them about serious issues, so they're not scared by things they don't understand. I want them to be able to explore their own imaginations. Brad and I want them to grow up ready to deal with the real world and know that we'll always be there to support them."
Jolie and Pitt last year co-starred as a miserable wife and husband in "By the Sea," written and directed by Jolie. The shoot, Jolie said, was "bizarre."
"We knew that if we could get through this, we'd come out even stronger and happier. And we did," she told Britain's OK! magazine (via the Franchise Herald). "We've always liked putting ourselves through challenges, even though it was maybe a little more dangerous for us as a couple. I don't think we want to go through it again though."
