"Teen Wolf" fans may have not seen the last of Theo (Cody Christian) just yet.

In an interview with TVLine, showrunner Jeff Davis said that the treacherous chimera may still pop up in Beacon Hills in the future despite being literally dragged down into the ground by his dead sister in the season 5 finale of the MTV series.

"I think he got his just desserts in the end, but I will say that we really like Cody Christian," Davis said. "We wanted to make sure we didn't kill him, so we could possibly bring him back."

In a separate interview with Hollywood Life, Davis revealed that he and the writers are wondering how they can keep Theo on the show.

When asked if he's going to miss writing for Christian's character, Davis -- who is stepping back a bit from his role as a showrunner starting next season -- told Teen Wolf News: "Cody was always a pleasure to write for, and there's something about writing dialogue for a villain that allows you to tap into your darkest side. It's kind of cathartic. I may be saying 'goodbye' to his character as I step back from the show a bit, but for the audience it may be more of a 'see you later.'"

While it's unclear whether Christian will reprise his role as Theo in season 6 or in future installments, the 20-year-old actor is absolutely grateful to be part of the show's fifth season.

Earlier this week, Christian took to social media to reflect on his time on the MTV series.

"[It had] been an unforgettable experience," he said of playing Theo in a series of tweets. "Some of you hate this character. Some of you thoroughly enjoy him. I just want to say that it's been such an honor being a part of this show. Portraying this character. And being involved with all of you awesome fans. Thank you for all the support. It truly has meant the world."

The "Pretty Little Liars" alum also shared an Instagram photo of him getting his face molded for his werewolf prosthetic. In the caption, he wrote that his season-long arc on "Teen Wolf" helped him grow not only as an actor, but also as a person. Check out his complete post below:
