Niecy Nash is officially returning for the upcoming season 2 of "Scream Queens."
The Emmy-nominated comedienne announced via Twitter that she's reprising her role as Denise Hemphill in the sophomore run of the Fox series.
"D E N I S E • H E M P H I L L back for season 2," Nash tweeted on Wednesday, March 3, along with a promotional photo for the new installment.

The 46-year-old actress joins returning cast members Emma Roberts (Chanel) and Lea Michele (Hester), who both confirmed their return to the new series last January.

Jamie Lee Curtis (Dean Munsch) is also expected to be back. According to Deadline, the 57-year-old Golden Globe-winning actress will be anchoring the series the way Jessica Lange did for the first four seasons of "American Horror Story."
As previously reported, the show's sophomore run will be set in a hospital "where some of the most fascinating and bizarre medical cases are under observation." E! News revealed in January that the comedy-horror anthology series will be adding four new male cast members for the new season.

These four new cast members will be in their late 20s, early 30s and will all play doctors. Casting search was underway at the time of the report's release, but series co-creator Ryan Murphy previously revealed that a popular male pop star could be one of them.
While speaking at the Fan Fright Fest in New York City last October, Murphy shared that he has already started talking to actors who might be joining the show for season 2.
"I've already started to meet [potential] cast members," he said, before revealing what his casting preferences are."I like to go after people I've always loved and never worked with before like Keke [Palmer]. But Keke's now in my world and will always be in my world, but sometimes people will just write me emails and I've gotten a lot of emails."
One of those emails was from a well-known male pop star, who has since been in touch with Murphy for a potential appearance in season 2. "Singer. Big pop star. I can't give it away, they'd kill me. A male," Murphy teased.
