Is Jay Electronica still upset that Kendrick Lamar's "Control" verse got so much attention and his didn't? It's a question we posed yesterday (Feb. 15), when we shared a response from 50 Cent after the New Orleans rapper dissed him.

Believe it or not, this August will mark three years since Big Sean dropped his song "Control." It was a cut that was supposed to be on his 2013 album "Hall of Fame" but couldn't be included because the samples couldn't be cleared. Thankfully, however, Sean still leaked it online.

Pretty much instantly after it made the rounds, K. Dot's verse became a hot topic among serious and casual music fans alike, and a large reason for that had to do with all the rappers he called out.

"I'm usually homeboys with the same n---- I'm rhyming with / But this is hip-hop and them n----- should know what time it is / And that goes for Jermaine Cole, Big K.R.I.T, Wale, Pusha T, Meek Mill, A$AP Rocky, Drake, Big Sean, Jay Electron, Tyler, Mac Miller / I got love for you all, but I'm trying to murder you n-----," he famously spit.

Well, now, it seems another person agrees with our assessment that Jay Elec is still bothered by those words, and that person is Dave Free, the president of Kendrick's label Top Dawg Entertainment.

"D-mn, you still mad about 'Control' @JayElectronica," he wrote. "#Sadman."

Jay quickly blasted back.

"Watch your mouth, stay off the swine and get knowledge of self," he tweeted. "Your man's wack. Don't make me crumble your whole s---."

"Ok, Mr.," the TDE president wrote back."

Of course, at this point, no one can prove that the Roc Nation artist is actually bitter about "Control," but what else could it be? Is Jay envious on some level? Does he have some sort of personal problem with Kendrick? Or does he really think the Compton spitter is "wack?"

Please let us know in the poll question below. You can also listen to "Control" here.
