Jewelry lovers will surely delight in this new app that is set to come out by the end of February. Taiwan-based 3D printing company Elements Lab came up with a unique way to make use of 3D printing technology.

The company, founded by Ting Tang, promises users of Elements Lab Jewelry Maker app with easy DIY jewelry making with real 3D printed jewelry.

To create a 3D jewelry through the app, the user will have to choose the type of jewelry and specify the size. The user will then have to select from the available options for both the charm and the metal and gemstone selection.

Users can also send their own original designs to Elements Lab for a more customized jewelry design. The ordering process is explained through the recently-released Elements Lab trailer.

According to the company’s website, all gemstones that will be used in their silver products are man-made stones, while the ones that will be used on real gold products, such as their 10K yellow, white gold and rose gold jewelry, are natural stones. Pearls that will be used in all of their metal products are genuine with sizes ranging from three to 6.5 millimeters in diameter.

Jewelry design is never easy to anyone,” Elements Lab explained to 3DPrint. “But 3D printing technology somehow bridges the gap closer to everyone. As more 3DP applications emerges, Elements Lab eyes on jewelry design and work with experienced tradition makers (craftsmen) to start is experimental project- Jewelry Maker App.”

The company also explained how the app is easy to use for everyone at any age, even those without skills or knowledge in using computer aided design tools. Once the user uploads their design, a quotation will be sent to the client. The design and pricing need to be approved before the jewelry goes into production.

The app, which will be launched by the end of the month, will be available through Google Play for Android devices. Users of iOS and Windows devices will soon get their access after the initial release.
