These days in hip-hop, it doesn't seem like we get that many big events, which is way different from the way things worked back in the day.
At one time, before the Internet, an artist released an album maybe once every two years at the most, and there wasn't this daily occurrence of singles being dropped and new projects being released like today.
Meaning, whenever a big rapper like a Jay Z or Snoop Dogg would drop an album, for example, it was a huge deal, because the fan knew there wouldn't be any new material for a long while.
That's why there's been so much talk and excitement about Kanye West's "Life of Pablo" album dropping.
Unlike others, Ye doesn't post constant singles. He still sticks to the old model of dropping new music by letting people actually wait for it.
Besides the new album, Kanye's "Yeezy Season 3" event has been the talk of rap as well, and it all went down yesterday (Feb. 11).
Of course, a who's-who of hip-hop showed up to support the rapper, and we've grabbed 10 cool photos that will give you a general idea of what it was like at the fashion show and listening party.
