"Dancing With the Stars" season 22 may see "Orange is the New Black" star Taryn Manning as one of its contestants.

Just recently, the actress posted a cryptic message on Twitter that left her fans speculating that she will be joining the hit ABC reality TV show.

According to Inquisitr, Manning worked with "Dancing With the Stars" pro Karina Smirnoff in the movie "Swing State."

Meanwhile, other than Manning, there are also some rumors that "The Mindy Project" star Rhea Perlman will join the competition.

According to Perlman's "Cheers" co-star Kristie Alley, the former may do well on the show because she has background in dancing.

In an interview with Wetpaint, Alley added that anyone who wants to compete on the show should have both passion and confidence to make a mark on audiences.

"You have to take a big leap of faith before you do 'Dancing With the Stars.' You know it's hard work, and you know you're putting yourself out there. Put it this way - I wouldn't want to do 'Dancing With the Stars' and be off the first week, you know?" she said.

Additionally, there have also been ongoing rumors that "Chasing Life" alum Italia Ricci will compete on "Dancing With the Stars" season 22.

Just recently, Ricci's TV series was axed by Freeform just after two seasons.

This means that the actress has plenty of time because she still hasn't booked a new TV show.

Ricci will, however, star in the upcoming movie "Late Bloomer" which is slated for release sometime this year.

In other news, "Dancing With the Stars" season 21 winner Bindi Irwin's younger brother Robert is also being linked to the show.

There are rumors that the younger Irwin is open to the idea of competing on the show, but producers are still waiting until he becomes a teenager.

"Dancing With the Stars" season 22 will premiere on ABC on Mar. 24.
