There'll be a new baby in Alexandria.
In a recent Facebook post, The Spoiling Dead Fans confirmed speculations that Maggie (Lauren Cohan) is pregnant with Glenn's (Steven Yeun) child.
While some fans may find this news surprising, a number of viewers actually believe that Maggie's pregnancy was hinted during the season premiere when Glenn stopped her from participating in the mission to divert the walkers from the quarry away from their community.
In the season opener, Glenn told Maggie that she needed to stay in Alexandria to continue acting as Deanna's (Tovah Feldshuh) second hand, especially given the fact that Deanna just lost her son Aiden (Daniel Bonjour) and her husband, Reg (Steve Coulter). The former pizza delivery boy went on to say that Deanna is important, and it's Maggie's job to make sure that she's safe.
While Glenn's reasoning makes sense, Maggie also cryptically told him: "This is not the only reason."
To which Glenn replied, "Yeah, it isn't."
From that exchange of lines, viewers can say that the couple already knows that they're expecting, but hasn't revealed the pregnancy news to anyone yet.

In next Sunday's episode, Maggie and Aaron (Ross Marquand) go out of Alexandria to search for Glenn. But as seen in the promo for the episode, Aaron is initially against of Maggie's plan to look for his husband. Perhaps, Aaron only decides to go with Maggie after he discovers that she's pregnant.
Maggie's pregnancy is something that comic book readers have also expected, because around this time in the comics, Maggie also discovers that she's pregnant with Glenn's child. However, Glenn never got to see his child, because he's killed by villain Negan before Maggie gave birth.
What do you think of Maggie's pregnancy on the show? Do you think Glenn -- just like in the comics -- will also be dead before Maggie gives birth to their baby? Share your thoughts in the comments section below!
"Now" airs on Sunday, Nov. 8, at 9 p.m. on AMC. Below are the synopsis and promotional videos for the episode:
"As Alexandria recovers from the Wolves' attack, Maggie and Aaron set out in the search for Glenn. Meanwhile, the intimacy between Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and Jessie (Alexandra Breckenridge) grows, as the herd approaches."
