'Teen Wolf' Season 5 Spoilers: Theo Reveals His Real Reason For Returning To Beacon Hills

(Photo : Facebook/Teen Wolf) Two promos for "Teen Wolf" season 5 summer finale revealed that Theo (Cody Christian) returned to Beacon Hills to steal Scott's (Tyler Posey) pack.

One of Theo's (Cody Christian) many secrets is out!

Two promos for next week's summer finale of "Teen Wolf" revealed the real reason behind Theo's return to Beacon Hills.

In the season 5 premiere, the lone wolf claimed that he came back to the spooky California town to join Scott's (Tyler Posey) pack, but it turned out that what he really wanted is to steal the True Alpha's pack.

"I never lied why I came to Beacon Hills," Theo told Stiles (Dylan O'Brien) in the promos. "I'm here for a pack. Unfortunately, it doesn't include Scott."

The promos, however, didn't reveal Theo's motivation in trying to get rid of Scott. Though viewers know that Theo was Scott's fourth grade classmate, previous episodes of the season didn't disclose any animosity between the two in the past. So is Theo's plan to kick Scott out his own pack a directive from the Dread Doctors? Possibly.

Aside from Theo, Liam (Dylan Sprayberry) also wants something from him Scott.

At the end of this week's episode, Liam asked Scott to save Hayden's (Victoria Moroles) life by turning her into a real werewolf. Scott refused, and as shown in one of the promos, Liam is ready to kill his own Alpha just to keep Hayden alive. If Liam successfully kills Scott, he becomes the Alpha, allowing him to transform Hayden into a werewolf.

Though it's unclear whether Liam will indeed kill Scott in the episode, the show's resident banshee Lydia (Holland Roden) said in one of the promos that someone is going to die.
