'Teen Wolf' Season 5 Spoilers: Scott Asks Help From An 'Unlikely Ally' In Episode 9 [VIDEO]

(Photo : Facebook/Teen Wolf) In "Teen Wolf" season 5, episode 9, titled "Lies of Omission," Tyler Posey's Scott McCall will be asking help from someone outside his circle of trust.

At the end of this week's episode of "Teen Wolf," Scott (Tyler Posey) realized that something "has changed" with him and his friends, and he felt that it's all because of him. Since he admitted that he doesn't know how to fix all the things that have gone wrong since the Dread Doctors' arrival in Beacon Hills, the True Alpha will be asking help from someone outside his circle of trust.

"Scott turns to an unlikely ally for help," teased the synopsis for next week's episode, titled "Lies of Omission." As to who that "unlikely ally" is, International Business Times reported that it could be Theo (Cody Christian). Though that's a possibility, there are still other characters in Beacon Hills that Scott would consider an "unlikely ally," and one of which is Peter Hale (Ian Bohen).

Peter was last seen in the season 4 finale, titled "Smokes and Mirrors," where he revealed that he had worked with Kate Argent (Jill Wagner) to turn Scott to a berserker in order to gain the latter's Alpha powers. Apparently, Peter's plan failed, and he was brought into a Plexiglas cell on the secret supernatural floor at Eichen House.

Though Scott and Peter's relationship is definitely not platonic, it's important to note that there have been some moments in the past where Peter helped Scott and his pack, so perhaps he's the "unlikely ally" that's being referred to in the synopsis.

Elsewhere in the episode -- as revealed by the synopsis -- "Stiles (Dylan O'Brien) and Lydia (Holland Roden) seek the truth about Parrish (Ryan Kelley)." Since Stiles and Lydia had already found out last episode that it's actually Parrish who's taking the bodies of the dead chimeras, next week's episode might finally reveal the deputy sheriff's supernatural identity.

"Teen Wolf" season 5, episode 9 airs on Monday, Aug. 17, at 10 p.m. on MTV. Watch the promo for the episode below:
