"The Walking Dead" alum Emily Kinney has joined the cast of Showtime's "Masters of Sex," the premium cable announced on Monday, July 6.

The 29-year-old actress, who portrayed Beth Greene on the hit AMC zombie series from 2011 to 2015, will play the recurring role of Nora in the upcoming third season of the period drama, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

As a child, Nora was Bill (Michael Sheen) and Libby Masters' (Caitlin Fitzgerald) neighbor. Now in her 20s, poised and brimming with intelligence, Nora volunteers to become a sex surrogate in the next phase of Masters and Johnson's research.

Kinney, who just won Best Supporting Actress in a Television Series at this year's Saturn Award, joins previously announced new third season stars, including "The Good Wife" alum Josh Charles, "Taken" actress Maggie Grace and "24: Live Another Day's"  Tate Donovan.

This is the fourth TV role that Kinney has scored since her "The Walking Dead" character was killed off in the show's controversial mid-season 5 finale.

Kinney had appeared as a guest star in an episode of the now-cancelled ABC fantasy crime drama series "Forever." She also played Brie Larvan / Bug-Eyed Bandit in the last season of CW's superhero drama "The Flash." She's also set to appear in the second season of Cinemax's medical drama "The Knick."

Since exiting "The Walking Dead," Kinney has also been busy working on her music. In fact, just nine days after her "The Walking Dead" character met her demise, Kinney debuted her new single "Rockstar" on Dec. 9, 2014 with a feel-good black and white music video.

"Rockstar" is her first single since her second extended play "Expired Love," which was released in October 2013. "Rockstar" is part of her next album, titled "This is War," which will be out on Aug. 11, according to OCRegister.

"Masters of Sex" season 6 premieres on July 12 on Showtime.
