Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon have officially sold their Los Angeles property.
Located in the highly sought after Bel Air neighborhood of Los Angeles, it was a year ago when the divorcing couple originally listed the estate on the market for $13 million. The Hamptons-inspired mansion was recently purchased by cardiologist and dentist, Dr. Rudy and Niki Rezzadeh for $9 million.
The 13,000 square-foot, six-bedroom, nine-bathroom estate had been home to Carey, Cannon and their three-year old twins since 2009 when they purchased the property from the previous owner and former "Charlie's Angel" star, Farrah Fawcett.
Fawcett had lived in the property for more than 20 years before selling it to the celeb couple. The mansion includes several exclusively designed rooms, with themed rooms like the mirrored dressing and make-up room and the Moroccan room.
The beautiful and well-crafted home features high ceilings, wood floors and French doors. The 3-acre property also features a view of the canyons and the city below and boasts a putting green and swimming pool, perfect for an active family.
Unfortunately, according to reports, the selling of the home was never finalized with Nick Cannon, who is looking to serve Mariah Carey with a lawsuit that will guarantee that the mony from the sold property will be allotted between the couple in accordance to their divorce terms.
Although fielding divorce fallout can be messy, at least "The Emancipation of Mimi" singer can split her time with the kids between her two other homes – the first being a triplex penthouse in New York City's TriBeCa and the second home being a beachfront property on the ultra exclusive Windmere Island in the Bahamas.
