The American record producer, rapper and entrepreneur Andrew Romelle Young, better known as Dr. Dre, recently sold his Hollywood Hills mansion. The hip-hop mogul originally listed his estate last year for $35 million and just recently closed on the property for $32.5 million.
According to Curbed, The Hollywood Hills estate was purchased for $15.4 million in 2012 and is neighboring wealthy celebrities like Leonardo DiCaprio, Tobey Maguire, Jodie Foster, Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Aniston and Keanu Reeves, just to name a few.
The mansion features incredible views of Los Angeles with a pristine, manicured backyard, infinity pool and an indoor/outdoor patio ideal for entertaining.
The founder of Beats Electronics recently sold his company to Apple for $3 billion and is the current CEO of American record label Aftermath Entertainment. In June, the business tycoon purchased the $40 million, 14,000-square-foot chateau from Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and supermodel Gisele Bundchen.
The Los Angeles mansion, new home to Dr. Dre, was designed by Richard Landry and maintains the impeccable qualities of an authentic French estate. It also just so happens to reside off the Pacific Coast Highway.
The previous property to one of this year's Superbowl quarterbacks includes a double-height, wood-paneled library, reclaimed cobblestone elements, a stone bridge, a spiral staircase, a pool and waterfall along with an indoor gym. The amenities of the mansion seem limitless, perfect for a famous quarterback and supermodel. The couple, though, will continue to live lavishly in their Boston home.
