Shakira Lists Miami Beach House For $12.99 Million

Shakira, the Latin singer with hips that don't lie, listed her Miami Beach property back on the market. The 8,400-square-foot residence has gone off and on the market at different listing prices, but is currently asking for $12.99 million.

Since the age of 10, Shakira was performing in her hometown of Barranquilla, Colombia, and by 1995 the pop artist became internationally known. Sony boosted her creative abilities and in turn, propped her album, "Pies Descalzos" to achieve platinum status.

According to Top Ten Real Estate Deals, the 35-year-old has received 320 music awards from 470 nominations, been awarded two Grammys, eight Latin Grammy Awards, 28 People's Choice Awards, and to top it off, a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Forbes listed Shakira as no. 58 on the World's Most Powerful Women list.

She is currently living in Barcelona with her partner, Spanish soccer player Gerard Pique, and their son. Looking to officially claim Europe as her home base, and with a second baby on the way, this star is saying goodbye to her Miami bayfront home.

The two-story house boasts six bedrooms, nine bathrooms and rests on a half-acre lot near Miami Golf Club greens. Shakira has renovated the property to create a serene atmosphere with light hardwood, plenty of open space, an updated kitchen with upscale appliances and a private gym.

With an outdoor fireplace, wooden decking around the pool, an outdoor dining pavilion and crimson bougainvillea framing the home, it seems to be the ideal Miami pad.
