The Tuscan-inspired family home of the Cyrus family is officially on the market. The spacious 8,700-square-foot pad in Toluca Lake, located in Northern Los Angeles, is listed at $5.995 million.
The former Disney star just recently listed the 26,939-square-foot property, where the six-bedroom, seven-bathroom home sits. The family originally purchased the mansion in May of 2007 for $5.83 million, having been designed by admired Montecito, CA architect Bob Easton.
The estate features intense security operations, a tree-lined driveway entrance with gate protection, as well as video surveillance. According to recent reports, a burglar bypassed the security system and was able to access property from within the home.
But not to worry potential homebuyers, the burglar, Rusty Sellner, has been arrested and charged with burglary, stolen property and grand theft. Sellner could be facing seven years and eight months in prison if convicted.
Since Nov. 2012, the property documents show the mansion was deeded over to Miley through a trust having previously been registered to Billy Ray Cyrus and Leticia Cyrus. While she may be moving on from the family abode, Miley also owns another house in the hills of Studio City, Calif.
