According to Curbed, Tyra Banks is parting ways with her downtown New York City apartment. The supermodel and host of "America's Next Top Model" has listed her two-bedroom, two-and-a-half baths SoHo pad for $3,795,000.
The apartment is located on Lafayette Street between the Nolita and SoHo neighborhoods, known as the Spring condominium, and has been home to Banks for nearly a decade. As reported by Forbes, the model originally purchased the space in 2005 for $2,102,686. The building has been home to other celebrities overtime, such as John Mayer and Dakota Fanning.
The 2,000-square-foot apartment offers panoramic views of the city, plenty of space for dining quarters, a home office with an open, spacious kitchen and living room floorplan with plenty of natural light. The downtown condo features a sleek and modern design with updated appliances, fixtures and floors of beautiful Brazilian mahogany that run throughout.
Banks, of course, has a large master closet and a marble accented bathroom with a luxurious tub — a must for one of the world's top models.
SoHo is a hot neighborhood in downtown New York, known for its trendy restaurants and limitless shopping, and is home to many of Manhattan's creative individuals. Fashion designer Marc Jacobs owns an apartment nearby. Victoria's Secret model Behati Prinsloo and new husband Adam Levine, singer of Maroon 5, recently purchased a loft in the area.
